The 5th workshop on proximity perception will focus on the recent and future technological developments of proximity and tactile sensing, the realistic simulation of multi-modal sensing systems, and state-of-the-art applications. The workshop welcomes contributions in two formats: short paper and one-page abstract. Interested participants can submit research contributions relevant to the topics of the workshop in the form of short papers (2-3 pages). In addition, we offer PhD students and young researchers a platform to present their work through talks during the PhD forum. Accompanying live demos are welcome at the demo sessions! All submissions will undergo a single-blind review process. For both types of submissions, notification of acceptance will be given within 1 week. Awards for best paper/PhD forum presentation will be announced during the workshop. The accepted papers will be published in the workshop proceedings together with the abstracts of the workshop talks.
