The Founder & Investor Talks enable the audience to learn first-hand from experienced founders, investors, and innovators. They share their international experiences, dos and don’ts and lessons learned during inspiring talks and answer questions in interactive Q&A-sessions. This month, our special guest is Armin Sageder.

Born in 1969, he graduated from the Technical University in Vienna with a PhD from the Stern School of Business (NY University) and was Senior Vice President of Business Development at VA TECH until 2000. Following this, he founded, together with others, paysafecard.com Wertkarten AG, until in 2005, he resigned from his role as CEO to establish Best Gaming Technology GmbH (BGT). Under Armin’s management BGT quickly established itself as the market-leading best-in-class sports betting technology solution. BGT was acquired by Playtech in July 2016 and in 2017, a new division named Playtech BGT Sports was formed. This powerhouse of sports betting brings together Playtech Sports with more than 600 employees based in seven European countries, led by Armin as CEO. Armin exited Playtech in March 2020 and founded Kairos Beteiligungs GmbH, a strategic advisory and investment business specializing in the field of Information Technology. In addition to that, Armin is a passionate horseman and together with his wife manages Austria’s biggest thoroughbred breeding, named Sage Stud.
