The Austrian Section Sensor Summit aims at connecting engineering students with researchers from industry and academic researchers who work on projects related to industry. This event takes places for the first time and is sponsored by the IEEE Sensors Council.
The program consists of talks of 30 to 45 minutes length with ample time set aside for discussions. The talks cover a wide range of topics and applications such as electrical grid stabilization, brain-machine interfaces, printed electronics, precision sensing, etc. These talks give the participating students the opportunity to get to know current research topics in industry.
