The Austrian EdSoc Chapter (Education Society) represents an integral part of the Austrian Section of the IEEE. It is operating in the framework of the IEEE Education Society. The Chapter was founded in 2005.

General information:

1. The scheduled activities of the Austrian EdSoc Chapter are also open to colleagues who are not associated in the IEEE Education Society.
2. An important attribute of the Austrian EdSoc Chapter is the close cooperation with  national and international organizations and associations.
3. IEEE provides extended communication options. Of particular importance are the online communication offerings as the listed below, with the purpose to encourage and facilitate discussion and sharing of ideas between IEEE members
4. Elections will be held every two years by an email-based organizational meeting.
